5. Pay only inside the official flow
Check the displayed amount and applicant before authorizing payment. Save the receipt and application reference. A bank charge is evidence of payment, not evidence of visa approval.
6. Monitor email and the application status
Respond promptly if the processing team requests a correction or additional document. Check the spam folder, but do not send sensitive information to an unrelated email address. Return to the official portal through your saved bookmark.
7. Verify and print the approved eVisa
When approved, compare every field with the passport. The official portal instructs travelers to print the eVisa for presentation during boarding and arrival. Carry the same passport used in the application and keep a digital backup as well.
How early should you apply?
The official portal says processing can take up to 10 business days and advises applying about two months before travel. Treat 10 business days as a processing estimate, not permission to submit at the last minute. An unreadable upload, payment issue, public holiday or request for more information can add time.
Avoid buying a nonrefundable flight solely because the form was submitted. An application confirmation is not an approval, and an approved eVisa is still subject to airline and border checks.
Validity and length of stay are not the same
